GCSE Examination Results Summer 2026

Today we congratulate our Year 11 students as they receive their GCSE results. We are so pleased that this dedicated cohort, who have been a pleasure to teach, have achieved such excellent results which allow them to progress to their sixth form, college or training course of choice. 

We are delighted that 86% of our 265 Year 11 students achieved a Grade 4 and above in English and Maths, and 71% achieved Grade 5 or above in both.  

82% of students gained 5 GCSE passes including English and Maths (9-4) and 66% of students gained 5 GCSE passes including English and Maths (9-5). 

91% of students achieved Grade 4 and above in English and 88% achieved Grade 4 and above in Maths. At Grade 5 and above, 84% were successful in English and 72% in Maths.  

Results at the highest levels are excellent across all subjects with 45% of all grades at 7-9 and 30% at grades 8 or 9. 57 students achieved 6 or more grades 8 or 9.  

In summary, for the 265 students:  

• 82% of students gained 5 GCSE passes including English and Maths (9-4)  
• 66% of students gained 5 GCSE passes including English and Maths (9-5)  
• 91% of students gained a grade 4 or above in English   
• 84% of students gained a grade 5 or above in English 
• 45% of students gained a grade 7 or above in English 
• 88% of students gained a grade 4 or above in Maths 
• 72% of students gained a grade 5 or above in Maths 
• 38% of students gained a grade 7 or above in Maths  
• 45% of all entries were graded 9-7 
• -40% of students gained 5 or more grades 9-7 
• 96% of students gained 5 GCSE passes (9-1) 
• Overall attainment 8 figure: 59.12
