Andrew has been CEO of the Diamond Light Source, the UK's national synchrotron research facility, since 2014, leading Diamond's 700+ team as it supports 14,000 scientists in universities and industry. Working tirelessly throughout lockdown and beyond, Andrew and his team have been researching ways to identify new therapies for Covid-19.
