Children from Sutton Courtenay Primary School joined the community at the war memorial to pay their respects to those who have lost their lives in war.

After The Last Post, they placed the school wreath at the memorial along with other community groups.

We were also joined by some older children from Ridgeway Education Trust who live in the village.

The young people then took part in the church service, placing a paper poppy for each soldier who fell in the First and Second World Wars onto a large wooden cross. Headteacher Rachel Hornsey led the prayers in the service.
